***Colby said I explained the spacing wrong lol. Apparently you want to let the wood dry first before you put it together. While drying your boards will shrink some which causes gaps in between each board. By letting it dry before we put them together, this allowed us to space the boards ourselves more evenly opposed to putting it together while "wet" and having no say on how they would be spaced. Hope that makes better sense lol
